Recipe: Honey Mustard Chicken
I think I originally got this recipe from my mom, but I could be totally wrong! It seems to me that she has made it before though, maybe I gave it to her! I’m at a loss right now! If I got this from you, let me know cause all I can say is its delicious!
- 3 Lbs Chicken pieces (I use 2-4 breasts and chop them up)
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup margarine
- 1/4 cup Dijon Mustard
- 2-4 tsp. Curry powder
- Pinch cayenne pepper
- pinch marjoram
- 2 tsp chicken seasoning (I use Montreal Chicken Spice)
Place chicken pieces in greased baking dish, sprinkle with chicken seasoning and marjoram. Combine honey, margarine, mustard, curry powder and cayenne and pour over chicken. Bake, uncovered, at 350 for 20 minutes. Turn pieces over and coat with sauce, bake for another 20 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink inside.
Serve over rice and paired with Roasted Broccoli.
